Expanding Max.TV’s range of professional quality security and surveillance equipment is this Digital Telephone Recorder. This purpose built phone tap device makes use of solid state memory technology, a multi function remote control and integrated security features to provide a means of recording land-line telephone conversations more conveniently and discreetly than can be achieved through alternative combinations of equipment.

The telephone recorder is installed ‘in-line’ between the telephone and the handset and is compatible with all conventional corded telephones. The unit draws power from the telephone line connection and so requires no additional power supply during normal operation. Recording will start and stop automatically when a call takes place (so no forgetting to start and stop recording when a call takes place) and the recording itself is saved to MicroSD memory card for huge storage capacity (up to 8GB) and maximum compatibility.

Fully integrated solution makes powerful features possible

Unlike alternative systems which require separate voice/tape recorders and a telephone line adapter (or coil pickup), this bespoke solution provides all you will need to record telephone conversations. This unique design also allows the device to automatically include the date, time and telephone number of calls as part of the recording – essential when you come to analyse calls at a later date.

Enhanced security

The Digital Telephone Recorder includes a very useful integrated security feature which means that password protection can enabled on the device, protecting the privacy of recorded conversations by preventing unauthorised access. Password protection can be enabled, set and entered either by entering a code on the telephone handset, using the remote control or through the PC application.

No unauthorised playback

If you wish to playback the recorded conversations you can use either the provided USB cable or a compatible memory card reader to connect the memory card to a computer. Once connected its only possible to playback the recorded conversations using the provided PC software which requires the entry of your password before playback is possible. This feature ensures that only you are able to playback the recorded sound clips if the product or memory card were to fall in to the wrong hands.
